2. Corporate Services – Office Administration (X1)

  • Reference Number: PN 93/2025
  • Minimum Requirements:
    High Certificate in Archives or Records Management, or a Diploma in Management specialising in Records Management
  • Stipend: R5 000 per month
  • Duration: 12 months

3. Community Services and Public Safety – Firefighter (X10)

  • Reference Number: PN 94/2025
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Matric Certificate
    • Fire Fighter I and II
    • Hazmat Awareness and Operations
    • First Aid Level 3
  • Stipend: R5 000 per month
  • Duration: 12 months

4. Community Services and Public Safety – Library (X2)

  • Minimum Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Library and Information Studies
  • Duration: 12 months

5. Budget and Treasury – Finance (X5)

  • Reference Number: PN 90/2025
  • Minimum Requirements:
    National Diploma in Accounting, BCom Accounting, or BCom Supply Chain Management/Logistics and Contract Management
  • Stipend: R8 333 per month
  • Duration: 36 months

6. Office of the Municipal Manager – Risk and Compliance (X1)

  • Reference Number: PN 95/2025
  • Minimum Requirements:
    National Diploma or Degree in Risk Management or Internal Auditing
  • Stipend: R8 333 per month
  • Duration: 36 months

7. Unspecified Department (Finance X5)

  • Reference Number: PN 92/2025
  • Stipend: R5 866 per month
  • Duration: 24 months

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for the Mandeni Municipality Graduate Internships, applicants must:

  • Be under the age of 35
  • Be unemployed graduates
  • Reside within the Mandeni Municipality

Duties

Interns will work under the supervision of a mentor or manager to gain practical experience and enhance their professional development in line with their field of study.
