Candidate Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • HR N6 (FET College): The candidate must have a qualification in Human Resources at the N6 level from an FET College.

Language Skills:

  • The successful candidate must be fluent in English and Afrikaans. Proficiency in Xhosa will be considered an advantage, especially since BKB Ltd. operates in a diverse region and serves a wide range of clients.

Technical Skills:

  • MS Office Proficiency: A strong working knowledge of MS Office programs, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required for the internship role. The HR Intern will need to be comfortable with basic computer tasks and using HR software if necessary.

Personal Attributes:

  • Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, external service providers, and employees is essential for this position. Clear and concise communication is crucial, both in writing and verbally.
  • Problem-Solving: The HR Intern should possess the ability to think critically and provide solutions to challenges that may arise within HR functions.
