SANRAL is inviting applications for its High School Scholarship Programme for the 2026 academic year. This opportunity is open to students entering Grades 8 through 12 in 2026. The scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate strong academic potential but are held back due to financial constraints.

What the Scholarship Covers

The SANRAL High School Scholarship goes beyond paying school fees. The scholarship covers:

  • Registration and school fees
  • Boarding school fees (if applicable)
  • School and sports uniforms
  • Books and stationery
  • Reputable school transport
  • Extra lessons, specifically in Mathematics and Science

In addition, SANRAL pays school fees directly to the school, while other costs are reimbursed to the parents or guardians upon submission of original receipts and a claim form.

Added Benefits

Successful scholarship recipients are not only financially supported but also benefit from holistic support. This includes:

  • Learner support to assist with academic preparation
  • Career information and guidance
  • Access to psychological counselling and career coaching
