The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced external Grant Administrator job vacancies in the North West Region, offering qualified candidates an opportunity to join one of the country’s most dynamic public service organisations.

Grant Administrator Vacancies
SASSA is seeking four Grant Administrators (Level 05), each based in different local offices across the North West:
- Taung Local Office (Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District) – Ref No: SAS NW 01/2025
- Rustenburg Local Office (Bojanala District) – Ref No: SAS NW 02/2025
- Moretele Local Office (Bojanala District) – Ref No: SAS NW 03/2025
- Maqassie Hills Local Office (Dr Kenneth Kaunda District) – Ref No: SAS NW 04/2025
Salary Range: R228,321.00 – R268,950.00 per annum (excluding benefits).
Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Public Management, Business Management, or Management Science recognised by SAQA.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
Added advantage: A valid driver’s licence and/or administrative or clerical experience.
Key Duties
Successful candidates will:
- Provide grant customer care services.
- Screen and capture grant applications, including beneficiary maintenance functions.
- Administer medical bookings and assessments.
- Provide off-site grant application services to clients.
- Perform scanning and batching of grant files.
Employment Equity Targets

- Rustenburg Local Office: African Male, then Coloured Female and White Male; second option – African Male, White Male, then Coloured Female.
