Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair, has announced a new permanent opportunity for a Data Capturer at its head office in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will join the SVM & Flight Line team, reporting directly to the Flight Line & SVM Foreman.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves handling sensitive operational data with accuracy and efficiency. The appointed candidate will be required to:
- Verify the accuracy of information from designated sources before entering it into company systems.
- Identify and correct data errors by confirming details with supervisors.
- Capture data into the SAM system and double-check for accuracy.
- Scan and forward documents to the Planning Department and MCC.
- Record technician working hours daily.
- Close task cards at the end of each day.
- Deliver completed task cards and work packs to the Planning Department.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of information across technical and operational teams.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (essential).
- At least one year of experience in data capturing (essential).
- Previous experience working on SAM software (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
