Cintocare, located in Menlyn Maine, Pretoria, is looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their fast-paced High Care unit. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in providing exceptional care in a highly specialized clinical environment, supporting patients who require complex surgical disciplines.
Job Description
Cintocare specializes in a variety of complex surgical fields, and nurses in the High Care unit will be expected to provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the following areas:
- Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
- Maxillofacial
- Head and Neck
- Neurosurgery
- Vascular Surgery
- Spinal Surgery
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the full nursing process, including:
- Assessment
- Planning
- Intervention
- Implementation
- Evaluation
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a therapeutic and safe environment for patients. In addition, you’ll maintain health and safety standards, always adhering to strict infection prevention and control protocols.
Key Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A degree or diploma in general nursing science.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
