1. Office Admin Position

The Office Admin position is integral to the smooth functioning of the SAPU office. This role requires an individual who is well-organized, efficient, and experienced in administrative tasks. As the Office Admin, you will be expected to perform a range of responsibilities, including handling correspondence, maintaining office supplies, managing schedules, and supporting other members of the team with various tasks.

Minimum Essential Requirements for Office Admin:

  • National Certificate/Diploma in Administration/Business Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role. The candidate must be comfortable with office work, documentation, and working with various software tools.
  • Computer efficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software programs is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with general office administrative duties.
  • Handle incoming communication, including emails and phone calls, and direct them to the relevant person.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and digital documents.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure all necessary resources are available for staff members.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.

  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role. Experience in both reception and cleaning duties is preferred.
  • Computer efficiency: Basic computer skills are required for answering emails, managing calls, and performing other administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors and clients, ensuring they are directed to the correct person or department.
  • Answer phone calls and take messages as necessary, ensuring that all inquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in all office spaces, including meeting rooms, kitchen areas, and reception.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and well-maintained.
  • Assist with other basic administrative duties as required.
