Studio Photographer Job Details

• Job Title: Junior Studio Photographer and Video Content Creator
• Location: Randburg, Gauteng
• Salary Range: R80 000 – R120 000 per annum
• Job Type: Temp to Perm (Temporary with the potential for a permanent position)

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Creative Content Creation Skills

• Photography: You must have experience in taking high-quality photos using a DSLR camera. The role requires you to shoot, edit, and post images across various social media platforms.
• Videography: The ideal candidate should also be skilled in videography, using a DSLR camera to capture videos. You will need to edit the videos and ensure they are suitable for publishing on social media platforms.
• Editing: You should be proficient in editing photos using Photoshop, AI-based editing programs such as Evoto, Imagen Ai, or Aftershoot. Additionally, video editing skills using software like DaVinci Resolve are essential.

2. Qualifications

• A Photography Diploma is required for this role. This qualification demonstrates your professional understanding of photography techniques, camera settings, and editing processes.

3. Experience

• Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in photography and videography. Please note that freelance experience or running a production company will not be considered for this role.

4. Portfolio

• You must provide a Google Drive link to your portfolio, which should contain:
  • 200 of your best photos to showcase your photography and editing skills.
  • 5 videos where you were the sole videographer and editor, showcasing your ability to manage all aspects of video production.

5. Location Requirements

• The role is based in Randburg, Gauteng, so candidates must live in areas such as Randburg, Cresta, Windsor, Fairlands, Northcliff, Melville, or Auckland Park. Applicants who live too far away or require more than one taxi to reach the office will not be considered.
