NBCRFLI Internship Programme (2026)

  • Filing and Archiving: Interns will be responsible for organizing files and maintaining proper documentation. A willingness to learn and contribute will be essential for this task.
  • Monitoring Work Quality: Ensuring that their own work is up to standard and compiling working papers and reports where necessary.
  • Reporting: Interns will be responsible for assisting with the reporting process, ensuring that the reports are accurate and meet organizational requirements.
  • Administrative Tasks: The role will involve assisting with administrative duties like managing departmental calendars and meeting minutes.
  • Training & Awareness: Interns will support the arrangement of departmental training and awareness sessions to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Assisting in identifying risks and helping to implement risk mitigation plans to manage and reduce potential issues.
  • General Assistance: Providing general assistance to the Risk & Compliance team as required, including tasks related to scanning and filing electronic documents.

Essential Requirements for the Position

To be considered for the Risk & Compliance Internship, applicants must meet certain requirements. These include:

  • Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have completed their Matric Certificate and a B.Tech or Degree in a related field, such as Risk Management, Legal Studies, Internal Audit, Forensic Investigation, or IT Audit.
  • Work Ethic and Teamwork: The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Interns will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to take direction.
  • Computer Literacy: A strong understanding of computer systems, including filing systems and basic report writing, is crucial for this role.
  • Numeracy and Communication Skills: Interns must possess good numeracy skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.

Remuneration and Benefits

This internship offers a stipend salary for the duration of the programme. The role is structured as a one-year internship, with monthly stipends provided to interns for their work.
