Key Responsibilities

As a Data Science Intern at the CSIR, your tasks will include:

1. Supporting DIRISA’s Data-Related Projects:
   • Identify user needs and assist in data collection, analysis, interpretation, and visualization.
   • Report insights to help users make decisions and improve processes.
2. Machine Learning and Data Mining:
   • Contribute to solving business problems through the application of machine learning techniques, data mining, and statistical algorithms.
3. Software Development:
   • Support DIRISA’s software development initiatives, particularly for data-related projects.
4. Contribute to Training and Challenges:
   • Participate in the DIRISA Student Datathon Challenge, contribute to designing data-related challenges, and assist with training materials for the DIRISA Coding School.
5. Professional Development:

   • Contribute to building a knowledge base in data science by participating in conferences, symposiums, and training events.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Education:
