- Safely transport UCT students, staff, and visitors between UCT campuses and residences.
- Follow a set schedule (as per the waybill system) to ensure that transport is provided efficiently.
- Defensive Driving:
- Apply defensive driving techniques to minimize risks on the road and ensure passenger safety.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Ensure that the vehicles are kept in a clean, tidy, and roadworthy condition at all times.
- Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it meets all safety standards.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with the National Road Traffic Agency regulations.
- Report any incidents or emergencies promptly to ensure the safety and smooth operation of shuttle services.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and other passengers, addressing any concerns or needs they may have.
- Emergency Situations:
- Respond to and attend to emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to shuttle operations.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other duties related to transport services that may be assigned by the Operations Manager.
Benefits and Salary
