Key Responsibilities
As part of this WIL placement, the selected candidate will:

- Collaborate with senior engineers and site managers to implement best practices in construction safety and project efficiency.
- Take on varied tasks related to the civil engineering discipline, including site inspections, project documentation, and assisting in quality control.
- Develop strong professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, enhancing interpersonal and communication skills.
- Learn how to adapt to the dynamic nature of construction projects and manage challenges that arise on-site.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a National Diploma in Civil Engineering (ND: Civil Engineering).
- Demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a willingness to contribute proactively to team efforts.
- Flexibility in working hours, as construction projects may require working outside of regular office hours.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication on-site and in reports.
- South African citizenship.

- Possession of a valid driver’s license, as this may be required for site visits and other work-related travel.
