Nkangala District Municipality is offering an exciting opportunity for unemployed graduates through its Graduate Internship & Bursary Programme for 2025/26. This structured programme aims to equip graduates with essential workplace experience, thereby enhancing their employability and helping to develop a pool of skilled professionals across key sectors, including construction, engineering, and renewable energy.
Programme Overview
- Duration: 12 months
- Stipend: R60,000 per annum
- Target Group: Unemployed South African graduates

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Graduate Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a South African citizen residing within the Nkangala District
- Be aged between 18 and 35 years
- Hold an NQF Level 4-8 qualification in one of the specified fields of study
- Be currently unemployed and not engaged in any other internship or learnership programme
Priority will be given to:
- Women
- Youth from previously disadvantaged backgrounds
- Persons with disabilities
- Graduates with limited or no experience
