About the In-Service Training Programme

The In-Service Training Programme is designed to provide students with real-world workplace exposure in various fields of study. The training aligns with the theoretical knowledge acquired during their academic studies, bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Available Positions and Locations

  • Sandton, South Africa: 8 positions available
  • Sanpc Refinery: 2 positions available

These positions are open to students who have completed their N6 theoretical studies in a variety of fields and need practical experience to complete their qualifications. The opportunity provides hands-on experience in a dynamic energy sector environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Matric Certificate and an N6 qualification in one of the following fields:
    • HR Management
    • Public Administration
    • Business Management
    • Supply Chain/Logistics
    • Financial Management
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Civil Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
  • A letter from the institution confirming the completion of theoretical studies and the requirement for in-service training.
  • Age: Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 25.
  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
  • No prior enrollment in any other internship or in-service training programme.

Desired Additional Skills and Competencies

While not mandatory, candidates with the following skills will be considered advantageous:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to learn quickly and multitask
  • Excellent communication skills
