The Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA) is seeking a WSP Officer to join its team in Gauteng’s Eastern Suburbs. This permanent position, listed under reference JHB000184, offers a chance to play a key role in supporting the organisation’s Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) initiatives.
Position Overview
The WSP Officer will focus on advancing HWSETA’s mission by:
- Implementing WSP policy
- Conducting quality assurance, monitoring, evaluation, and risk management
- Evaluating and recommending WSP/ATR submissions
- Building capacity among provincial personnel
- Advocating for WSP/ATR submissions and providing stakeholder support
- Managing reporting and administration
This position will be based at HWSETA’s Bedfordview offices.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 (compulsory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Social Sciences, Finance, or Auditing
- Experience:
- 4–6 years in a training and development environment
- Skills Development experience is advantageous
- Advanced computer literacy is essential
Remuneration Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary between R602 267 and R805 157 per annum, aligned with their skills and experience.
