The Department of Social Development is inviting applications for two Clinical Nurse Practitioner positions at the Dr Fabian and Florence Ribeiro Treatment Centre. Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- A basic R425 qualification (Diploma or Degree in Nursing) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- A post-basic qualification of at least one year in Curative Skills in Primary Health Care, accredited with SANC.
- Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- At least four years of appropriate nursing experience after registration with SANC in general nursing.
- Sound knowledge of legislation, policies, and mandates governing nursing practice.
- Strong understanding of nursing care standards and procedures applicable within a primary healthcare setting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Apply nursing legislation, ethical standards, and practices within a primary healthcare environment.
- Deliver clinical nursing care in line with the professional scope of practice.
- Promote and maintain the quality of nursing care in accordance with recognised standards.
- Demonstrate understanding of HR and financial policies relevant to healthcare operations.
