About the Role
This position is non-permanent and casual, meaning workers are called in when required, depending on operational needs. There are no guaranteed hours or fixed schedules. Pay is provided only for the actual hours worked.
Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will support the production and treats facility teams by taking on a variety of duties, including:
- Assisting with loading and unloading goods
- Packing, sorting, and moving stock manually
- Preparing and stacking pallets
- Lifting and carrying dog food bags (up to 40kg)
- Cleaning, tidying, and maintaining work areas
- Labelling and packaging products
- Supporting general tasks throughout the production process
Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
- Must live in Graaff-Reinet and be available on short notice
- Currently unemployed
