Key Responsibilities

In your role as Learnership Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and delivery of learnership programmes. Your core tasks will include:

  • Learner Recruitment & Registration: You will oversee the recruitment process and ensure the smooth registration of learners into the learnership programme.
  • Compliance & Accreditation: Ensuring all programmes comply with SETA, QCTO, and other accreditation requirements, as well as managing internal and external audits.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Managing relationships with employers, training providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless work-integrated learning and placement opportunities.
  • Learner Support: You will monitor learner progress and offer guidance and support services, aiming to improve completion rates and overall learner outcomes.
  • Report Management: Maintain accurate records and submit reports to ensure timely compliance with mandatory SETA requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement feedback mechanisms to enhance the content and delivery of the learnership programme, ensuring its relevance and impact on learners.

Minimum Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will need:

  • A Grade 12/Matric certificate (minimum), with a relevant Degree or Diploma in Education, Training Development, Human Resources, or a related field being highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience in managing learnerships or similar skills development programmes.
  • A solid understanding of SETA, QCTO, and related accreditation and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transport will be considered an advantage.
  • A clear criminal record with no pending cases is required.

Candidates residing within the West Rand area are preferred, though all applications will be considered.
