About the Westfalia Educational Bursary
Westfalia Fruit believes that education is the key to uplifting communities and ensuring a sustainable future. The bursary scheme was established to provide financial assistance to academically deserving students—particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds or communities surrounding Westfalia’s operations.
For the 2026 academic year, the bursary is open to students who have completed Grade 12 and plan to pursue undergraduate studies at a university, university of technology, or TVET college.

Requirements
To qualify for the Westfalia Educational Bursary 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Must have completed Grade 12 or be in their final year of matric.
- Must be pre-approved or accepted by a recognized institution of higher learning.
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Must have a strong academic record.
- Must be willing to study full-time.
Required Supporting Documents
Applicants must include the following with their bursary application form:
- Certified copy of ID
- Certified mid-year or Grade 12 results
- Proof of acceptance or pre-approval letter from a university, TVET college, or university of technology
- Proof of residence (municipal or tribal authority letter)
