Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Accountant at Nexio, your responsibilities will include:
- Journal Entries and Month-End/Year-End Closing:
- Assisting with the preparation and posting of journal entries.
- Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- General Ledger and Reconciliation:
- Reconciling general ledger accounts and investigating any variances.
- Ensuring accurate recording of asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
- Asset Management:
- Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register (both system and manual).
- Monitoring the lifecycle of assets and ensuring depreciation schedules are followed.
- Corporate Cards and Internal Controls:
- Managing and reconciling corporate cards (e.g., Amex and fleet cards).
- Ensuring all card transactions comply with company policy and have valid documentation.
- Liaising with cardholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely submissions.
- Audit Support:
- Assisting with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports and schedules for management.
- Assisting in maintaining compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
- Process Improvement Initiatives:
- Participating in finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Performing any other finance-related duties as assigned by the team.
Key Skills and Qualifications

- Educational Requirements:
