Minimum Qualification and Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
Although the internship role will involve training and development, the selected intern will also be expected to take on a range of responsibilities within the finance department. These include:
- Following up with suppliers for outstanding statements, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Capturing and processing supplier invoices in Accpac (a financial software application).
- Assisting with Occupational Rental manual invoice batches.
- Taking on ad hoc accounting duties as instructed by the Financial Accountant.
- Helping with BEE compliance-related tasks.
- Filing finance documents in an organised and secure manner.
- Assisting with the reconciliation of creditor accounts.
- Capturing and reconciling payments using the Standard Bank Pay card system.
- Processing intercompany supplier invoices using Accpac.
These responsibilities are designed to give the intern practical, hands-on experience in financial operations, accounting processes, and compliance procedures.
