Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management Support: Collaborate with Vendor Managers to maximise business performance and grow sales. Vendor Managers help build strong relationships with Amazon’s retail vendors, playing a critical role in Amazon’s retail organisation.
- Program and Product Development: Assist in the conceptualisation, definition, and execution of strategic programs that drive digital transformation in procurement, improving Amazon’s supply chain efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Analyse large data sets to uncover trends, derive customer insights, and take actionable steps to improve customer experience and operational performance.
- Growth and Optimisation: Contribute to optimising the visibility of Amazon’s offerings across the website and marketing channels to improve customer conversion rates and retention.
Who You Are:
To succeed in this role, you will need to be proactive, analytical, and curious. You should be passionate about learning new skills and have a strong interest in data-driven decision-making. In addition, the following qualifications are necessary:
- Availability: Able to start the internship in September 2025 and commit to a full-time, 6-month internship (40 hours per week) based in Cape Town.
- Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, with recent graduates (within the last 12 months) being preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong fluency in written and verbal English (C1 level or higher) is essential.
- Experience (Preferred but not required): Experience working with clients or in a customer-facing role is an advantage.
