The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) has opened applications for its CIDB Internship Programme 2025. This programme offers unemployed graduates across South Africa the chance to gain valuable workplace experience that complements their studies and prepares them for the labour market.
The internships are 24-month contracts with a stipend of R5 000 to R6 000 per month. Applications close on 24 October 2025.

Requirements for All Internships
- Must hold the required qualification.
- Must be a South African citizen or permanent resident with a valid SA ID.
- Applicants who have already participated in an internship or graduate programme will not be considered.
- Duration: 24 months.
- Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply in line with the CIDB Employment Equity plan.
- Applicants not contacted within three months of the closing date should consider their applications unsuccessful.
- Relocation costs will be for the applicant’s account.
