Role Summary
The Civil Artisan’s primary responsibility is to ensure the full and accurate record-keeping of all maintenance work and services undertaken within the hospital’s premises. Inherent Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates need to meet several educational and experience prerequisites. Below are the qualifications and experience required:
- National Trade Certification in Plumbing, Carpentry, or Building, complemented by at least N2 theoretical qualification.
- Grade 12 / Matric as a minimum educational qualification.
- A minimum of three years post-qualification experience in a plumbing, carpentry, building, or facility environment.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and National Building Regulations (SAN 0400).
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office (Word and Excel), is an added advantage.
