Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Cleaner Vacancies at Kalafong Provincial Tertiary Hospital, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum education: Grade 10 / ABET Level 4 certificate or higher.

Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to perform a range of cleaning duties across clinical and non-clinical hospital areas. Key tasks include:
- Carrying out cleaning services as per schedules using heavy cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Terminal cleaning of infectious areas.
- Stripping and sealing vinyl floors, scrubbing tiled floors, and vacuuming carpets.
- Cleaning windows, walls, door frames, and handles.
- Maintaining hygienic bathrooms and toilets.
- Removing general waste from designated areas.
- Performing additional cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor or team leader.
- Coping with the physical demands of the job, either individually or in a team.
- Being prepared for rotation across different hospital sections.
