1. Director: Management Accounting (Ref No: NCDOH 92/2025)
Salary: R1 266 714 per annum (Level 13), all-inclusive package
Location: Provincial Office, Kimberley
Job Purpose
The Director: Management Accounting will manage and provide full management accounting services in line with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in Financial Accounting or a related NQF 7 qualification (recognised by SAQA).
- At least five years’ experience at middle or senior management.
- Successful completion of the SMS Pre-Entry Certificate from the National School of Government.
- Valid Code B (08) driver’s licence.
- Strong knowledge of PFMA, PPPFA, Treasury Regulations, auditing standards, and public service legislation.
- Competency in BAS, PERSAL, Vulindlela, and other financial systems.
- Proven leadership, project management, analytical and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Key Duties
- Oversee accounting functions to ensure sound financial planning, budgeting and expenditure control.
- Strengthen internal controls and legislative compliance.
- Improve revenue and debt collection processes.
- Drive risk management, audit improvements, and year-end coordination.
- Support the CFO in developing and implementing financial policies.

2. Environmental Health Practitioner (Ref No: NCDOH 93/2025)
Salary:
- Grade 1: R397 233 per annum
- Grade 2: R463 941 per annum
- Grade 3: R543 099 per annum
Location: Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Environmental Health (NQF 6).
- Completion of one-year community service as an Environmental Health Practitioner.
- Registration with the HPCSA as an Environmental Health Practitioner.
- Grade-based experience requirements:
- Grade 1: No experience required.
- Grade 2: Minimum 10 years’ experience post-registration.
- Grade 3: Minimum 20 years’ experience post-registration.
- Strong knowledge of Environmental Health programmes, National Health Act, and related prescripts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Key Duties
- Monitor healthcare waste management.
- Assist in pest control, water monitoring, and hygiene inspections.
- Support mortuary services for safe disposal of the deceased.
- Conduct health and hygiene awareness campaigns.
- Ensure compliance in baggage, cargo, and postal parcel inspections.
- Provide disease control (excluding immunisation).
- Compile regular health statistics and reports.
