About the Role

The Digital Marketing Administrator plays a vital support role by bridging the gap between the digital marketing and sales teams. The successful candidate will help ensure that digital campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with client expectations.

This role focuses on campaign coordination, client communication, administrative support, and tracking digital marketing deliverables to contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the digital department.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Liaising between the sales and digital marketing teams to ensure smooth and timely campaign delivery
  • Monitoring campaign start and end dates and sending reminders to relevant stakeholders
  • Contacting clients to request digital materials, provide campaign updates, and gather additional information
  • Responding to client queries and communicating client needs to the digital marketing team
  • Tracking campaign timelines and materials using tools such as Microsoft Planner
  • Performing general administrative duties, including:
    • Cold-calling potential newsletter subscribers
    • Compiling spreadsheets, schedules, and contact lists
  • Assisting with the preparation of reader demographic reports and basic analytics
  • Ensuring all digital materials meet required specifications
  • Relaying client expectations and feedback to ensure campaign success

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance in this role will be measured based on:

  • Accuracy: Reduced errors in campaign materials and deadlines
  • Efficiency: Percentage of campaigns delivered on time
  • Client Satisfaction: Positive client feedback during and after campaigns
  • Material Retrieval: Timely receipt of campaign materials from clients
  • Campaign Monitoring: Consistent reminders and updates for active and closing campaigns
  • Administrative Support: Completion of assigned tasks such as reporting and database management

Required Education and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • A qualification or experience in administration or a related field
  • Familiarity with digital marketing or digital advertising sales (advantageous)
  • 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative or support role
  • An interest in digital media and online marketing environments
