- A Grade 12 qualification.
- A valid driver’s license, with at least one year of driving experience.

- The position offers an attractive salary scale ranging from R 153,285.00 to R 167,465.00 per annum.
Position 2: Team Leader / Driver (Parks and Recreation)
The second position is for a Team Leader / Driver working under the Supervisor – Landfill. This position focuses on managing the municipality’s parks and recreational areas, ensuring that they remain clean, well-maintained, and accessible to the public. The key duties associated with this role include:
- Overseeing Park Management: The individual will monitor park activities, ensuring that the work plan for park maintenance is adhered to. This includes managing landscaping, equipment maintenance, and ensuring that all areas are safe for public use.
- Supervising a Work Team: The Team Leader will supervise a team of workers, allocating tasks related to park maintenance and ensuring that the team works in accordance with municipal guidelines. This role demands strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a diverse group of workers.
- Maintaining Vehicles and Equipment: The successful candidate will also oversee the maintenance and control of vehicles and machinery used in park maintenance. This includes ensuring that all vehicles are well-maintained and that all machinery is in safe working condition.
Requirements for this position include:
