Key Responsibilities
As an intern at Ecotel, you will be tasked with a variety of important duties that contribute to the smooth financial operation of the company. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Track and Manage Financial Data
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring that all transactions are recorded and tracked in compliance with company policies. - Documenting Financial Transaction Details
Accurate documentation of financial transactions is crucial. You will need to ensure that every transaction is properly recorded for future reference and auditing purposes. - Preparing and Filing Documents
You will assist in preparing and filing various financial documents to ensure proper documentation and compliance with industry standards. - Processing Payroll and Issuing Payslips

You will help in the preparation and processing of invoices for clients, ensuring that all payments are correctly logged and followed up. - Checking and Signing of Night Audit Reports
A key responsibility will include checking the night audit reports and reporting any discrepancies to the accountant, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. - Linen Reconciliation
Reconciliation of linen records will also be part of your responsibilities. You will need to ensure that linen stock matches with the records. - Booking.com Reconciliation
As part of the financial reconciliation tasks, you will assist with updating and reconciling payments made through platforms like Booking.com. - Managing Outsourced Company Contracts
You’ll also be responsible for maintaining staff outsourced companies’ contracts, ensuring that discrepancies are flagged and communicated to management promptly. - Submitting Decade Reports and Petty Cash Reconciliation
You will assist with the submission of decade reports and petty cash reconciliations, ensuring that all financial records are up to date and accurate. - Managing Guest Credits
Another important task is updating, redeeming, and processing guest credits accurately, contributing to customer satisfaction. - Financial Statements and Monthly Reports
You will be involved in submitting monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring that all necessary documentation, such as occupancy rates and stock control sheets, are completed and handed in on time. - Staff Food Control and Other Miscellaneous Tasks
Managing staff food control will also be part of your role, and you’ll be expected to take on any other administrative tasks assigned by the management team.
Qualifications and Requirements for the Bookkeeper Internship
