Minimum Requirements for the University Bursary

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must have Grade 11 final results or a Grade 12 certificate.
  • Must have conditional acceptance to study engineering at a public university.
  • Must not be holding another bursary or be registered at any tertiary institution.

Academic Performance Requirements

  • English: Level 4
  • Pure Mathematics: Level 5
  • Physical Science: Level 5

Eskom also notes that Grade 11 year-end results meeting the above standards will be considered, but the final decision will depend on the 2025 Matric results.

2. Eskom University of Technology Bursary Programme
