Location: East London
Salary: R171,234.00 per annum (Total Cost to Company)
Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
- Certificate in switchboard operation (advantage).
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Receptionist and/or Switchboard management, or in an office environment managing high call volumes.
- Advantage: experience in a SETA, training, or public entity environment.
- Strong MS Office skills and proven telephone etiquette.
- Excellent administrative, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with high organisational skills.
- Customer service passion and professional approach.
The successful candidate will be based at the ETDP SETA Office in East London.
2. Education, Training & Development Quality Assurance Officer (ETDQA Officer) – Limpopo
Ref: 1930/27
Location: Polokwane
Salary: R561,033.00 per annum (Total Cost to Company)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Education, Training and Development or Public/Business Management or Administration.
- Advantage: Qualification in Total Quality Management or ODETDP.
- Minimum four years’ experience in skills development, preferably in quality assurance, accreditation, assessment, moderation, and verification.
- SAQA Unit Standards 115753/7978 and 115759/7977 will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ETQA processes, QCTO requirements, and Skills Development legislation.
- Strong MS Office and IMS skills.
- Excellent reporting, presentation, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s licence is mandatory.
The successful candidate will be based at the ETDP SETA Office in Polokwane.
3. Skills Development Officer (SDO) – Eastern Cape
Ref: 1930/28
Location: Queenstown (Ikhala TVET College)
Salary: R561,033.00 per annum (Total Cost to Company)
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) with a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Education, Training & Development, HR Development, Business/Public Management, or Project Management.
- Minimum three years’ experience in skills development, with at least two years in project administration.
- Knowledge of Skills Development legislation, policies, and regulations.
- Strong MS Office and MIS skills.
- Ability to plan, organise, and work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and outside official hours.
- Valid driver’s licence is mandatory.
The successful candidate will be based at Ikhala TVET College, Queenstown.
4. Provincial Skills Advisors – Eastern Cape & KwaZulu-Natal
Refs: 1930/25 (Eastern Cape), 1930/26 (KwaZulu-Natal)
Locations: East London & Durban
Salary: R698,169.00 per annum (Total Cost to Company)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Education, Training and Development, Public/Business Management or Administration, or Project Management.
- Certificate or Diploma in Project Management (advantage).
- At least five years’ experience in skills development processes, with three years in project management implementation.
- Strong knowledge of project methodologies, lifecycle, budgeting, risk management, and financial management.
- Familiarity with SETA environment, Skills Development Acts, PFMA, Discretionary Grants Regulations, and SLA frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and project evaluation skills.
- Valid driver’s licence is mandatory.
The successful candidates will be based at the ETDP SETA Offices in East London and Durban.
