The rate is set at R255.30 per session.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the External Invigilators Vacancies at the Western TVET College, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Matric/Grade 12 Certificate.
- An N6 Certificate or National N Diploma in Business Studies, Engineering Studies, or another relevant qualification.
- Retired or unemployed teachers/lecturers are encouraged to apply.
- Medically fit to stand/walk for the duration of an exam session.
- Trustworthy and willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
- Not currently enrolled in any internship or learnership.
- Preference given to Western TVET College graduates.
- Clean criminal record.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Conducting national examinations as per Government Gazette, Vol. 507, No. 30287 of 12 September 2007.
- Being available for sessions between 07:00 and 18:00 (typically 5 hours).
- Supporting exam processes through efficient administration, candidate invigilation, and handling exam materials.
- Maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and effective communication.
- Demonstrating excellent organisational and time management skills.
