FNB Graduate Trainee Programme Role Description:

As a FNB Gradute Trainee your primary responsibility is to actively participate in on-the-job training, providing you with exposure to various aspects of the business. This includes attending meetings, shadowing experienced staff members, and conducting research to gather information for insightful reports. Your goal is to gain practical experience and contribute to the efficient execution of role responsibilities through careful planning, reporting, and timely information updates.

Required Qualifications:

Recent graduates with Bachelors Degree in:

  • Commerce (Accounting, Business Management, Fincance, Ecomonics, etc)
  • Actuarial Science
  • Maths
  • Statistics
  • Engineering
  • HR
  • Marketing
  • Industrial Psychology
  • Information Systems
  • Computer Science

FNB Graduate Trainee Key Responsibilities:

  • On-the-Job Training: Attend meetings and actively engage in learning opportunities. Shadow experienced staff members to understand practical aspects of the business. Conduct research to gather information for reports and practical application.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations. Provide proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Efficient Role Execution: Plan, report, and update all relevant information in a careful and timely manner. Execute role responsibilities efficiently, ensuring the smooth flow of operations.
  • Innovation and Contribution: Actively participate in the business innovation process. Contribute ideas and efforts toward new innovations aligned with objectives.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Projects: Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives. Contribute to projects aimed at maximizing skills required for the role and exploring relevant career opportunities.
  • Graduate Development: Manage the graduate development plan through completion of training assignments. Increase own competencies and skills through attendance of training programs. Actively participate in own development to enhance competencies.
  • Values and Ethical Conduct: Live the values of the business by demonstrating and displaying the required ethical values.
