About the YES Programme
The YES Programme aims to tackle youth unemployment by offering work placements to individuals aged between 18 and 35. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience, helping them build a strong foundation for their future careers.
The programme runs for a duration of 12 months, starting in January 2026, and offers remuneration in line with the gazetted minimum wage and YES Programme guidelines.
Available Positions
Garlicke & Bousfield is currently looking for candidates for the following positions:
- Admin Assistant
- Archiving Clerk
- FICA Assistant
- Front Office Assistant
- Kitchen Assistant
- Librarian
- Garden and Maintenance Assistant
- Messenger (A valid Driver’s Licence [Code 8] is compulsory for this position)
Requirements
To apply for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- You are currently unemployed.
- You have not previously participated in the YES Programme.
- You reside in or around Durban and are able to commute to Umhlanga daily.
- You are aged between 18 and 35 (Applicants turning 36 in 2026 are not eligible).
- You hold a Matric Certificate.
- You consent to a police clearance and credit check.
