GIBS YES Programme Overview

This programme offers you a chance to gain a full year of meaningful employment experience, develop professional skills, and enhance your employability in South Africa’s challenging job market.
Requirements
The GIBS YES Programme is designed for unemployed South African youth who are eager to learn, grow, and make a difference in their careers.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be unemployed at the time of applying.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old (not turning 35 before 31 December 2025).
- Be a South African citizen, either by birth or naturalisation.
- Reside in Gauteng.
Additional Requirements
- Must not have participated in any other YES Programme.
- Hold a minimum of a university degree or equivalent qualification (NQF 7).
- A major in quantitative skills is an added advantage.
- Have good English communication skills.
- Be willing to work 40 hours per week, which may include evenings (Monday to Friday from 16:30 to 21:30) and weekends, with two consecutive days off.
- Be available to start in January 2026.
