Key Responsibilities
As part of the Planning – Learner role, you will be entrusted with several key responsibilities that will give you hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the planning function in the manufacturing industry. These include:
1. Order and Production Support:
- Review customer orders for raw material resale demands.
- Create repack process orders as necessary and release them to production.
- Work with production, customer care, and regional/global affiliates to resolve or escalate any issues related to orders.
2. Reporting and Analysis:
- Produce and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly status reports (e.g., COOISPI schedule, OTS, past due purchase orders).
- Analyze order and production data on an ad-hoc basis as required by management.
3. Vendor Management:
- Receive and record vendor confirmations, file purchase order documents, and perform other related duties.
- Collaborate with materials planners and the purchasing group to resolve any vendor-related issues.
4. Administrative Planning:
- Support department managers, production planners, and raw material planners with various administrative tasks.
- Manage and track boot and pager invoices for the site, as well as manage packaging supply.
5. Compliance and Best Practices:
- Work in alignment with the company’s standards of quality, safety, industrial hygiene, and good practices.
- Follow and execute PIR/golden rules/best practices, ensuring optimal stock levels (SLOB).

Requirements
