Role Purpose
The successful candidate will join the Foundation Phase team, delivering a stimulating learning experience that nurtures literacy, numeracy, and individual talents. Key Responsibilities
Teachers at Trinityhouse Centurion Preparatory are accountable for the following:
- Academic delivery – ensuring effective lesson planning and teaching.
- Assessment and reporting – tracking progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Student behaviour management – fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.
- School brand ambassadorship – representing ADvTECH’s values within the community.
- Administration – maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Health and safety – upholding safeguarding standards within the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must demonstrate:
- An undergraduate degree (NQF level 6) in ECD or B. Education (Foundation Phase).
- A PGCE qualification if the degree is in a related field such as Psychology.
- SACE certification and valid police clearance.
- Between 2–5 years of teaching experience.
- Strong computer and digital literacy skills.
- A recognised First Aid qualification.
