Key Responsibilities

The HR Trainee will be involved in several vital administrative and system support functions, including:

Training Records Administration

  • Monitor and diagnose issues in the accuracy and completeness of training records
  • Capture and update training records in SAP and other systems
  • Archive documents according to compliance standards

SAP System Support

  • Learn and apply SAP functionalities such as Qualifications and Training Catalogues
  • Analyse system data to identify gaps and recommend improvements

Bridging Recruitment and On-Mine Systems

  • Implement and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data transfer between recruitment and training systems
  • Monitor data flow and address inconsistencies

Filing and Archiving

  • Maintain structured filing systems, ensuring compliance with data protection laws

Learning and Development

  • Participate in structured learning to enhance system administration skills
  • Apply acquired knowledge to improve operational processes and reduce waste

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:

Qualifications

  • Grade 12, N3, or NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification
  • HR or Training Diploma or Degree

Experience

  • 1-2 years in administrative or data entry roles (preferred)
  • Exposure to SAP or similar systems (advantageous)
  • Experience in monitoring and improving operational processes is beneficial

Knowledge & Skills

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A strong understanding of training administration and data systems
  • Ability to monitor and diagnose operational issues in data processes
  • Knowledge of SAP Qualifications and Training Catalogues
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and recommend improvements
  • A keen eye for detail and adherence to process discipline
