Key Responsibilities

As an International Relations Trainee, your primary duties will include:

1. Administration

  • Event Coordination: Support in organizing international visits, conferences, workshops, and diplomatic events.
  • Guest Preparation: Help in preparing itineraries, welcome kits, and meeting materials for international visitors.

  • Event Monitoring: Track global events and provide senior officials with briefing notes or summaries.

3. Stakeholder & Management Support

  • Coordination: Help in coordinating international relations activities and ensuring smooth interactions with international partners.
  • Networking: Assist in identifying gaps and provide solutions to strengthen professional networks with international colleagues, organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Partnership Development: Support the development of international partnerships, collaborations, and agreements.

4. Protocol Management

  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all international relations activities are compliant with government or related protocol requirements.
  • Protocol Assistance: Support protocol management in official engagements.

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for the SACAA International Relations Trainee opportunity, applicants should meet the following qualifications:
