Key Responsibilities

- Software Rollout: Assist with the rollout and patch management of software applications across all locations.
- Asset Tracking: Maintain an accurate record of IT assets, including issued and returned equipment.
- Vendor Escalation: Escalate technical problems to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or third-party vendors and ensure issues are resolved in accordance with the agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Minimum Requirements
Boxer Superstores is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, N+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification (or equivalent).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (XP, 7, 10, 11) and Windows Server (2003 to 2022).
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network hardware such as switches, firewalls, and Access Points (APs).
- Virtualization: Familiarity with virtualization platforms, particularly VMware.
- Additional Advantage: Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required, as some travel between locations may be necessary.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are a must.
