Bursary Fields of Study
The JDK Benefit Trust bursary is open to students who wish to pursue an undergraduate degree in the following fields:
- Accounting

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the JDK Benefit Trust Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be Black and a Previously Disadvantaged Individual (PDI)
- Be between 17 and 21 years old
- Currently be in Matric or have completed Matric
- Be enrolled or planning to enrol at a recognised South African tertiary institution (University, Technikon, or College)
- Be studying or planning to study towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the above fields
- Demonstrate self-motivation, passion, and a strong desire to succeed
Failure to meet any of the above criteria may result in disqualification from the selection process.
How to Apply for the JDK Benefit Trust Bursary
Applications for the JDK Benefit Trust Bursary must be submitted online. Follow these steps to apply:
- Create an Account: Register an account on the JDK Benefit Trust’s application portal.
- Fill Out the Application: Complete the application form and provide the necessary information.
- Submit Required Documents: Include the following supporting documents:
- Certified copy of your ID document
- Matric results or Grade 11 results if you are currently in Matric
- Academic records from 2025 (school report or latest semester marks)
- Proof of bank account (bank confirmation letter or bank statement)
- Proof of address (not older than 3 months)
- SARS tax reference number (if applicable)

Bursary Closing Date
