Key Vacant Posts
1. Chief Engineer (Ref No: LDARD 1/8/2025)
- Salary: R1 266 450 per annum (all-inclusive package)
- Centre: Head Office, Polokwane
- Requirements: Engineering degree (B Eng/BSc Eng) with six years’ post-qualification experience. Professional registration with ECSA is compulsory. Strong knowledge of project management, engineering design, compliance, and leadership skills are essential.
- Duties: Oversee engineering design and analysis, maintain operational effectiveness, ensure governance and financial management, and lead professional teams.
2. Assistant Director: Acquisition Management (Ref No: LDARD 2/8/2025)
- Salary: R468 459 per annum (Level 09)
- Centre: Head Office, Polokwane
- Requirements: NQF Level 6 qualification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management. At least 3–5 years’ supervisory experience in acquisition or supply chain management.
- Duties: Manage procurement processes, facilitate bid evaluations, compile reports, and supervise subordinates in line with legislation.
3. Senior Personnel Practitioner: Human Resource Services (Ref No: LDARD 3/8/2025)
- Salary: R397 116 per annum (Level 08)
- Centre: Mopani District
- Requirements: NQF Level 6 qualification in HRM/Public Management/Administration. 2–3 years’ HR experience and PERSAL training.
- Duties: Manage human resource provisioning, conditions of service, and HR planning while supervising staff.
4. Administrative Officer: Support Services (Ref Nos: LDARD 4/8/2025 & LDARD 5/8/2025)
- Salary: R325 101 per annum (Level 07)
- Centres: Sekhukhune East and Sekhukhune West
- Requirements: NQF Level 6 in Public Management, HR, Financial Management, or related fields with 2–3 years’ administration experience.
- Duties: Provide administrative, clerical, supply chain, personnel, and financial support services.
5. Administrative Clerk: Stores (Ref No: LDARD 6/8/2025)
- Salary: R228 321 per annum (Level 05)
- Centre: Capricorn District
- Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with knowledge of clerical duties, PFMA, data capturing, and computer literacy.
- Duties: Render clerical support across supply chain, personnel, finance, and transport services.
6. Photocopier Operator (Ref No: LDARD 7/8/2025)
- Salary: R138 486 per annum (Level 02)
- Centre: Sekhukhune South Central
- Requirements: Grade 8 or equivalent qualification with knowledge of office equipment, computer literacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Duties: Operate photocopy and fax machines, binding, laminating, and provide counter services.
Important Notes
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo personnel suitability checks, including qualification verification, reference checks, and security vetting.
- Senior Management Service (SMS) candidates must complete the NSG pre-entry certificate before interviews.
- The department will not cover costs for interviews such as transport, accommodation, or meals.
