Marist Brothers Linmeyer is pleased to announce an opportunity for four motivated students to join as Learnership Students, beginning 1 January 2026. The successful candidates will receive on‑the‑job training while continuing their distance education degree in education.

This learnership is ideal for those who are committed to professional development, education transformation, and who wish to make a difference in a school environment with a strong ethos.

What Marist Brothers Linmeyer Is Looking For

Marist Brothers Linmeyer seeks enthusiastic and committed student teachers to gain practical teaching experience whilst completing their studies. The school values creativity, discipline, and a strong dedication to inclusive education. Minimum Requirements

To be considered for one of the four learnership positions, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

- Advertisement -
  • Be enrolled in the third or fourth year of a distance‑based Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree or be registered for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Specialise in one of these phases:
    1. Early Childhood Development (ECD)/Foundation Phase
    2. Intermediate Phase
    3. Senior Phase
    4. Further Education and Training (FET) Phase
  • Be a South African citizen.
