The WIL Opportunity
The Finance WIL placement is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice. Students will work under the mentorship of RSAWEB’s Finance Team, gaining invaluable skills while contributing to critical business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support daily finance tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Contribute to internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Analyse financial data and trends to support decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
- Provide ad hoc administrative and finance support.
Requirements
To be considered for this WIL placement, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in a Diploma in Accounting/Finance that requires a Work Integrated Learning component.
- Provide an academic record and proof of eligibility.
- Demonstrate basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Commit to completing the six-month placement.
- Have reliable transport to and from Northgate Business Park.
- Supply a placement letter and a university placement agreement.
- Be a South African citizen who has not previously participated in a SETA internship.
