About the Role
The Sales Agent will play a key role in selling comprehensive insurance products and other related insurance offerings while providing top-tier customer service. This position demands excellent communication skills, strong product knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell full comprehensive insurance policies to new and existing clients.
- Handle incoming customer inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Convert sales leads into successful policy agreements.
- Deliver high-quality service through various communication channels, including phone and email.
- Maintain strong client relationships by ensuring satisfaction and resolving concerns promptly.
- Assist clients with policy documentation, claims, and total loss insurance processes.
- Perform accurate data entry and document validation to meet compliance standards.
- Log customer interactions and cases systematically.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets in line with company objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to support collective business success.
- Work flexible hours when required.
Education and Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification is required.
- FAIS and RE5 certification is preferred.
Experience, Skills, and Competencies
- A minimum of 2–3 years’ sales experience, ideally within insurance or a related sector.
- Previous exposure to the short-term insurance industry is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently under pressure.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
- Must have a clear criminal and credit record.
- Reliable transport is essential.
- Must uphold and represent Motus Corporation’s company values at all times.
