Minimum Requirements

Applicants must hold at least a Grade 10 qualification. Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be able to read and write, operate basic cleaning machines and equipment, and be willing to work extended hours when required.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high hygiene standards across SAPS facilities. Duties include:

  • Cleaning and sanitising offices, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas.
  • Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and removing refuse bags.
  • Safekeeping and correct use of cleaning materials.
  • Washing and maintaining state vehicles and kitchenware.
  • Providing garden maintenance and assisting with loading or unloading goods as needed.

This position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistent performance in routine maintenance tasks.
