Sasol is on the lookout for a Graduate Trainee II (Instructional Content Designer) to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the creation, design, and delivery of online learning content, with a strong emphasis on digital content development and animation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Design and Development:
    • Design and develop high-quality learning content that is fit for purpose and engaging.
    • Focus on digital content development using industry-leading tools, such as Articulate software and Adobe Creative Cloud for animation and illustrations.
    • Implement the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) to guide content creation.
  2. Content Governance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure adherence to content development standards, guidelines, and best practices to maintain consistency and quality.
    • Oversee the quality assurance of content projects developed internally and externally.
    • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and Superuser Instructional Designer to ensure the highest standards in content development.
  3. Cost Management and Reporting:
    • Track and report on cost savings from internal content development efforts.
    • Maintain accurate records of external spending related to content development on a weekly basis.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to review milestones and key deliverables in content development projects.
    • Ensure all internal content projects meet Instructional Design guidelines and quality expectations.
