Key Requirements
To be considered for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Qualifications: A BA in Social Work.
- Registration: Must be registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professionals.
- Age: Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Race & Gender: Applicants from all race and gender categories are encouraged to apply.
- Preference: Preference will be given to youth with disabilities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing practical work experience in the field of Social Work.
- Exposure to a variety of social service environments, including placements in different Gauteng Department of Social Development institutions.
- Developing practical knowledge and skills required for a career in social work.
