This is a fixed-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate execution of GBS services, contributing to continuous improvements within the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with South32’s internal controls, including its Charter, Code of Business Conduct, and operational standards.
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of data capture for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with the team to drive performance improvements by optimising existing processes, systems, and practices.
- Produce and maintain operational and management reports, ensuring alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and local operating procedures.
- Manage transactional processing and resolve queries as outlined in Service Level Agreements.
- Cultivate supportive relationships with team members and promote operational discipline in day-to-day activities.
- Assist with task prioritisation and adapt to shifting priorities as needed.
- Recommend and implement process and system improvements.
- Create and update local operating procedure documentation.
About the Johannesburg Office
The Johannesburg office, located in Melrose Arch, serves as South32’s Functional Hub for Southern African operations, housing the Global Services, Technology, and Enterprise Resource Planning Support Teams.
Qualifications and Skills
To be eligible for the Graduate Programme at South32, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A degree, BTech, or National Diploma in Supply Chain, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
