Job Purpose

As a Spa Therapist, your main responsibility is to deliver a wide variety of spa and wellness treatments that make guests feel relaxed, refreshed, and valued. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle client queries and concerns with care.
  • Assist with spa reception duties such as bookings and queries.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Recognised certificate in Spa or Beauty Therapy

Experience:

  • 2–3 years’ experience as a Spa or Beauty Therapist in a 5-star hotel, resort, or cruise ship environment

Work Conditions:

  • Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in a variety of treatments (massage, skincare, holistic wellness)
  • Knowledge of skincare products and product lines
  • Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to use spa management systems
  • Sales and upselling techniques
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
